Goodbye, August!
Was August good or bad for you?
I had a grand plan to bid farewell to August with a heartfelt post at 11:30 pm. Unfortunately, life had other plans. A debilitating headache and nausea left me unable to even hold my phone, forcing me to sleep it off. Thankfully, I'm feeling much better now, and I'm finally able to share these thoughts with you.
Goodbye August! Endings are bittersweet, a bittersweet symphony of emotions. They mark the close of a chapter, bringing a sense of both sadness and relief. And oh, the relief! My exams are finally over, a weight lifted from my shoulders. No more frantic studying, no more panicked breakdowns over unread course material. Just pure, unadulterated relief. August, you were a whirlwind, but now it's time to close this book and welcome the new chapter ahead. Even though three more months of school lie ahead, this moment of relief feels like a mini vacation in itself.
Naturally, my inner voice chimes in, βOkay, that's done. What's next?β Because I know life keeps moving forward, but for now, I'm going to bask in this moment of peace.
I started this newsletter August, after much pressure from a particular friend who wouldn't leave my ass (and thank goodness they didn't!). I did ask other people before starting it, because self-doubt just wouldn't let me go. I remember asking, "This is a decision that will change the trajectory of my life. Should I do it?" Their encouragement gave me the push I needed. One friend even put me on a phone call and told me to do it if it's what I truly love. And now, here I am, embarking on this exciting new journey. I'm so glad I listened to them, because if I hadn't, you wouldn't be here reading this.
So, you've got that dream tucked away - a new skill you'd love to master, a course calling your name, but self-doubt is holding you back. Don't let it win! This is me, cheering you on, urging you to take the leap. Today is September 1st, a fresh start, a blank canvas. Go for it! Let's embrace the fun and the crazy that September always brings. Cheers to new beginnings!
September is officially here, and I'm ready to treat myself to a whole lot of fiction and movies. I can already feel the blissful escape coming on. Just finished "The Fine Print" by Lauren Asher, and it's the perfect way to kick off the month. This September, I'm diving headfirst into a world of stories and characters, and I can't wait to see what adventures await.
